Hi! My name is Adrienne, or "Addie" - whatever is easier to
remember. I grew up in a small town on the coast of Maine and
studied psychology and film production out in Oregon and California.
After school, I received a phone call from an old classmate - "The
Walking Dead" TV Show was hiring in Georgia and needed help in the
Location Department from time to time. While this isn't what I ever
intended to pursue, I figured it was a "foot-in-the-door" and took
the chance.
After working in Locations for nearly 10 years, I decided I was
ready for a change. While there is a certain thrill of finding,
securing, and managing locations that comes with each gig, the 80+
hour work weeks put a damper on things over time. I opted to make a
change.
Currently, I'm working on taking online classes in software
engineering and hope to switch gears to software engineering
entirely, but also take side film gigs on occasion to help make this
transition.
I absolutely love learning. I hope to save up enough money to go
back for a proper degree program in Software Engineering (or
possibly Cybersecurity) and fully transition out of the film
industry.
I also just got a puppy with my partner, so we have been busy
training her and trying to control the madness.
